Advance Ashburton Community Foundation Annual Celebration 2026

Please join us and hear from our keynote speaker, Superintendent Tony Hill, New Zealand Police District Commander for Canterbury. Raised in Mid Canterbury, Tony joined the New Zealand Police in 1990 and has worked in many roles across New Zealand, including a long stint in the CIB. Tony will speak about his journey to the top police role in Canterbury and share insights into policing and crime prevention.

Julie Moffett, Ashburton District Councillor and Chair of the Ashburton Age Friendly Steering Group, will also speak about the development of the Age Friendly Action Plan for the Ashburton District, supporting the ageing population in our community.
