Event description

Important NOTE:

Student Clinic Context:

  • To support our advanced students and their clients, each therapy counselling room (online) will be allocated with one student therapist working with one client. There will also be one observing student and a supervising teacher observing your session with their camera’s off.

The Advanced Clinic for Transpersonal Therapy, is a College of Complementary Medicine ONLINE Clinic where members of the public can attend an Online Therapy Session. The sessions are administered by our Students who have completed more than 2/3 of the Advance Diploma course. All Sessions are supervised by a qualified Practitioner.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

You are booking for a Student Clinic. Although our students will be able to take you through an appropriate process they are not qualified practitioners as yet. For these reasons please do NOT book into a student clinic if you have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia, or experiencing paranoia or mania as the Transpersonal therapy is not suitable for these conditions and not suitable for our student clinic.

The Process:

If you book for a session you will be asked to fill out an Intake Form which you will need to complete prior to the session date. You will be asked to share the intake form with the supervisor at the start of the session, so please have the form saved on your desktop. The intake form will be sent to you a few days prior to the session.

The Session:

The session will run for 1 hour. One of the questions in the intake form will ask what you would like to address in the session, this would be the issue that the therapist would be helping you with. This is an ONLINE Transpersonal Therapy session and the Student/Practitioner would choose appropriate processes or techniques to address the issue. An example of this could be using Focusing Techniques. All the techniques applied in the sessions are drawn from the Art Therapy or Counselling Advanced Diplomas.

 Confidentiality & Telehealth Requirements:

In booking and participating in our Advanced CCM student Clinic you understand and agree to the following:

  • To ensure you have suitable internet connection and that your camera is on for the whole session.
  • To hold your sessions in a suitable & private location that cannot be overheard by anyone else.
  • To not record any of the content without seeking permission prior to the recording.
  • In return, we guarantee that all of the above is offered back to you, to ensure you a confidential session.

Privacy Policy:

  • The details you provide here and during our sessions will be held in the strictest confidence. Your intake form will be viewed and discussed only in the context of your therapy session within the CCM student clinic and will be stored in a secure online file.
