Led by our Artistic Director Kaye Pedersen, sharing her 20 years professional experience in dance education and dance performance.
This will be an 8 week term, with NO CLASS on Nov 22.
Blending a variety of dance theatre styles and techniques in order to train performers.
Classes vary weekly in focus depending on company needs. We'll train in physical skills and styling, covering core conditioning, posture, placement and stability followed by turns and progressions followed by choreographic phrases to integrate skills in choreography, and towards the end of term will complete training with recovery classes.
Blending upper body, leg and core strength training with range of movement, posture, transfer of weight and and floorwork training, focus on getting in and out of floorwork in commercial and theatre jazz choreography.
