Fri, 12 Sep, 5:30pm - 8pm AEST

Event description

This is not your average Abhyanga course.

This is a rare and refined workshop for those already familiar with self-Abhyanga (oil-massage) who wish to evolve their practice with advanced potent techniques, rooted in specialised Ayurveda knowledge and the teachings of the Raju family of Vaidyas.

You’ll learn how to intelligently activate and nourish the body’s subtle channels using advanced abhyanga techniques, pulse, and marma (vital point) activation - without diluting or misusing the delicate knowledge of marma.

Self-Pulse Diagnosis and Self-Referral techniques will be a significant focus of this course. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the pulse communicates with you about your physiology, and how different Abhyanga techniques subtly influence that dialogue. Through group sharing, guided practice, and hands-on refinement, we’ll cultivate a more conscious and sensitive relationship with our internal landscape, optimise the flow of prāṇa through our hands, and strengthen our healing intelligence of touch.

DATES & TIMES (2-Day Workshop):

  • Friday 12th of September, 5:30-8pm

  • Saturday 13th of September, 5:30-7pm

  • Self-pulse referral to self-assess the practice’s impact and enhance your pulse practice.

  • Techniques to enliven prāṇa in the body and clear blockages in subtle channels

RECOMMENDED PREPARATION

Prerequisite: You have learnt self-pulse either directly from the Raju family or Dylan Smith, or you have watched Video 1 of the Introductory Self-Pulse Course with the Raju Vaidyas. Practicing self-pulse regularly in the lead-up will help you gain the most from this workshop.

Some prior experience with self-Abhyanga is also recommended. We suggest downloading our free Self-Abhyanga Poster and beginning a consistent practice ahead of time. If you’re already oiling at least once a week, you’ll be able to go much deeper with the techniques taught. (Not mandatory, but highly beneficial.)
