VCAT hearings can become complex quickly. Even experienced housing practitioners may need to respond to contested evidence, legal challenges and unexpected developments while remaining focused on the best tenancy outcome.
This advanced workshop develops the practical skills needed to prepare and present community housing matters at VCAT. Through case studies and applied activities, participants will strengthen their ability to build a clear case, apply key legal principles, present evidence effectively and explain why VCAT should make the order sought.

Facilitator - Jason Perdriau
Jason is Deputy CEO at CHIA Vic.
Jason has fifteen years’ experience in the social housing sector which has included managing community and public housing programs and leading projects to support the growth and improvement of the social housing sector. Before working in social housing, Jason practised as a solicitor in the private and community sectors, and he has an MBA, Bachelor of Laws and Diploma of Social Housing.
