Advanced Zero Waste Planning Class

Class Description: The Advanced Zero Waste Planning Course is designed to deliver in-depth instruction on tools used in Zero Waste Planning. In addition, participants will learn how to understand Material Characterizations studies and standard metrics used in Zero Waste planning. Participants will get instructions on all of Zero Waste USA’s planning tools, which precede the advanced tools. The advanced Zero Waste planning tools taught in this course include the Diversion Potential and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Analysis and the Cost Estimate Tool. Participants will get hands-on experience using these tools.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Zero Waste class, Zero Waste for Businesses and Institutions, and the Zero Waste Associates Course. Professional experience can take the place of those classes. Recordings are available to view those classes if needed. 

Class Goal and Outcome: Knowledge of Zero Waste Advanced Planning techniques communities need to plan for Zero Waste and track success.
