Advent Discussion Groups - The Art of Advent

During Advent St James' King Street is hosting a four-week group discussion series looking at "The Art of Advent". Drawing on materials from St Martin-in-the-Fields in partnership with the National Gallery (London), each week we look at some art related to Advent themes and what they teach us about Christian faith and Christian living.

Week 1: The Patriarchs

Week 2: The Prophets

Week 3: John the Baptist

Week 4: Mary and Jesus

We are running three separate groups this year, a morning group, a lunchtime group and an evening group depending on what time of day you prefer to attend. Please bring a plate of food suitable for sharing and something to drink.

Morning Group meet at Clergy House, Chatswood on Mondays 27th November, 4th, 11th, 18th December from 10am until 12noon. Hosted by The Rev'd John Stewart.

Lunchtime Group meeting in St James' Hall on Tuesdays 28th November, 5th, 12th, 19th December from 1pm until 2pm. Hosted by The Rev'd Christopher Waterhouse.

Evening group meeting in St James' Hall on Wednesdays 29th November, 6th, 13th, 20th December from 7:15pm until 8:30pm. Hosted by The Rev'd Christopher Waterhouse.
