Adventures in Creativity
Event description
Adventures in Creativity is an exciting 8-week after-school program designed for kids ages 8-12 that sparks their creativity, spontaneity, and sense of fun. Through dynamic improvisation-based games and activities, children will tap into their imagination while developing essential life skills such as communication, resilience, and teamwork. Improv has been proven to significantly boost children's confidence, enhance their social skills, and improve their mental health—essential factors in fostering a happy, fulfilling life.
The class is run by Improv Taranaki, and is facilitated by Franzi Maciej. With a passion for improvisation, drama and education, Franzi brings a wealth of teaching experience from kindergartens, primary schools, museums, and theatres across Germany, the USA, and New Zealand. Her enthusiasm and playfulness create a warm and inclusive space, fostering strong relationships and building rapport with children quickly, making everyone feel welcomed and valued.
