The Mantra Lighthouse in Bunbury
This three-day Workshop will equip you with practical tools to pitch and lead advocacy initiatives using the PHAI advocacy model. You will explore a wide range of topics, from human rights to the commercial determinants of health through case studies, group activities and expert presentations.
Open to professionals in public health, non-government and grassroots agencies, funding bodies, research and education – including university students and those engaged with local and state governments.
No prior advocacy experience is needed – just a passion for change.

Cost
3-day Workshop: $450 per person (plus booking fee)
Media day only: $250 per person (plus booking fee) (limited places)
Please note that places are limited and payment is required to secure your booking.
Accommodation is not included in the ticket price. However, attendees can access exclusive accommodation at the Mantra Bunbury Lighthouse. Guests who have purchased a ticket will receive 10% off their stay. Instructions on how to receive the discount will be provided in the confirmation email.

Dr Mel Stoneham
With over 20 years of advocacy experience, Mel's areas of expertise are environment and health, remote community engagement, and marketing tactics. She brings deep expertise in planning, implementing and evaluating advocacy programs.
Professor Christina Pollard
Christina brings 35 years of government experience, offering valuable insights into influencing change from within. Her areas of expertise include food security and government practices.
Deb Bishop
Deb founded Bishop Media in 2000 following a distinguished career in broadcasting. She has conducted thousands of interviews and worked as a presenter, reporter, and producer for outlets including 6PR, ABC Radio and Television, Network 7, and Network 10.
Helen Mitchell
Helen is the Chief Officer of Growth and Innovation at Hope Community Services Ltd. She has extensive experience in public health and community development.
