Event description

Come celebrate the end of another year of exciting music-making with the first concert in our Finale Celebration. Join our Wind Ensemble, Sinfonia and Symphonic Winds for a jam-packed program of orchestral favourites and exciting symphonic works in one of Adelaide's best acoustics.

Bring your whole family to the stunning Adelaide Town Hall and be prepared for a delightful afternoon of beautiful music performed by some of SA's brightest young musicians.

Each year Adelaide Youth Orchestras (AdYO) provides excellent music education programs and career pathways for South Australia’s brightest young musicians. AdYO services and supports 300 young musicians participating each week during school terms across five orchestras (Youth Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, Wind Orchestra, Sinfonia, and Junior Strings), an exciting Percussion Ensemble, and smaller chamber groups. Over the past 22 years, AdYO has supported more than 2000 emerging young musicians to engage with our programs.

To be recognised as the leading Australian youth orchestra, giving young South Australians the opportunity to attain the highest standard of musical performance.

To provide talented young South Australian musicians with orchestral training, life skills and education in a safe, empowering and joyful environment.
