Event description

Join us for an 'Aerospace Elevator' Lunchtime webinar session, hosted in collaboration with Dentons.

On 2 April 2025, President Trump announced Liberation Day and the imposition of sweeping new import tariffs, with a new minimum baseline tariff of 10% applied to New Zealand’s exports to the United States. These tariffs  apply to virtually all US imported tangible goods, with some limited exceptions. Dentons is assisting New Zealand-based aerospace businesses to understand their obligations. Join Dentons Partners Gerard Dale (New Zealand)  and Michael Zolandz (US) as they discuss:

• The technical impact of the tariffs and the process for seeking such exclusions where available;

• Policy and process considerations in the United States; and

• Business and commercial advice regarding supply chain options, contract due diligence, dealing with pricing and contractual issues, transfer pricing.
