Description
Aerospace Elevator 8: Managing the Human Firewall: ITAR, Export Controls and the Employees Who Keep the Secrets
Aerospace New Zealand is excited to host 'Aerospace Elevator 8' in partnership with Dentons.
Join James Warren and Kate Rouch to unpack the challenges of managing export controls and protecting sensitive information, through the people that handle it everyday.
This session will focus on the legal issues and risks when dealing with prospective and current employees, who may work with sensitive information. It will cover employment law obligations, human right considerations, and their interaction with security requirements. We will also examine what happens when confidentiality is breached and how organisations can act to mitigate the risks.
