Natalie McVeigh is a family enterprise advisor and mediator with 20 years of training and development experience. She has specialized in coaching families in business since 2010, and family offices since 2015.

Shelley Taylor is a Family Business Advisor who works with business-owning families on matters pertaining to governance, structure, role clarity, next generation development, generational transitions, and family councils. Shelley is an astute listener and a strategic thinker who fosters collaboration and promotes understanding.

Aspen Family Business Group (AFBG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on providing broad access to knowledge, skills, and experiences to family businesses. We have removed financial and geographic barriers by offering online resources and content at no cost, or with an optional donation model.

Many families in business aspire to pass down their business from one generation to the next. However, many complicating factors can get in the way of successful transitions. Research has shown that business-owning families who engage in formalized planning and follow “best practice” governance systems have a better chance of growth and survival from one generation to the next.

Family businesses power the national and global economy. AFBG believes that when we support these businesses and their owning families with resources and education, we also contribute to their local communities by providing jobs and a healthy local economy.
