About the hosts
Joyce Hrinya leads A&R Strategy Partners, a transformational strategy and process improvement consulting firm she founded fifteen years ago to bring diverse senior leadership experience to mid-sized family owned companies. Joyce is a National Association of Corporate Directors Certified Director and has been an independent director for on family business boards for 16 years.
Shelley Taylor is a Family Business Advisor who works with business-owning families on matters pertaining to governance, structure, role clarity, next generation development, generational transitions, and family councils. She is an astute listener and a strategic thinker who fosters collaboration and promotes understanding. Shelley established her family’s Family Council and led it for 12 years with over thirty 3rd and 4th generation family members. She has served as an independent director for another family business for six years.
