Join master drummer Mishael Gyabeng for a fun, welcoming and interactive African drumming workshop designed especially for seniors. Originally from Ghana, Mishael has over 30 years of experience performing and teaching traditional West African rhythms, sharing the joy of music with communities around the world.

No previous musical experience is needed—just come along ready to have fun! Through simple rhythms and group participation, you'll discover the uplifting power of drumming while improving coordination, memory and wellbeing in a relaxed and supportive environment. Drumming is a wonderful way to connect with others, reduce stress and experience the rich musical traditions of Ghana.

All drums are provided, and everyone is encouraged to join in at their own pace. Whether you've always wanted to try drumming or are simply looking for a new and enjoyable social activity, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to make music together.
