Event description
Tailem Bend |Â Wednesday 23 October | Tailem Bend Football Club
Lameroo:Â Wednesday 30 October | Lameroo Bowls Club
Join us for a half-day workshop featuring a panel of experts discussing the best ways to identify and manage African lovegrass. Learn how to access FREE assistance for controlling it on your property in 2024-25.
Experts will share insights from a local demonstration site where various control methods, like rotowiping, spraying, blade ploughing, slashing, and crimp rolling, have been trialled to determine the most effective strategies to control African lovegrass for our region.
Attendance is free, and will include breakfast, but registrations are essential.
These workshops are jointly hosted by the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) and the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board.
This program is funded by the Commonwealth Government and State Government through the Priority Weeds, Cropping and Pasture Weeds Program.
