African Youth Summit 2025 – “I See Me Thriving”

The African Youth Summit is a landmark one-day gathering in Western Sydney designed to empower African Australian youth and create pathways to brighter futures. With the theme “I See Me Thriving”, the summit celebrates resilience, potential, and opportunity by connecting young people with role models, mentors, and practical support.

This dynamic event brings together youth from diverse African backgrounds, service providers, schools, and employers in an inclusive, engaging space. Through AAAC’s strong community networks, participants will gain access to real opportunities while building confidence and leadership skills.

What makes this summit special?

• Interactive Workshops: Themed spaces will offer practical, hands-on engagement. From Workforce Australia and local businesses in the Employment Pathways Room, to culturally responsive support in the Wellbeing Room, and career guidance from TAFEs, universities, and vocational services in the Education & Career Room.

• Youth Leadership Panels: Young achievers in sports, arts, academia, and business will share inspiring journeys, proving that success is possible and relatable.

• Community and School Engagement: Held on a Saturday, the summit is also accessible to students aged 14–18, especially those at risk of disengagement, ensuring early intervention and inclusion.

• Direct Connections with Employers and Services: Participants will access on-the-spot mentoring, career matching, and pathways to employment and education.

The African Youth Summit is more than an event—it is an opportunity to nurture leadership, break down barriers, and inspire the next generation of African Australians to thrive.
