Join us for a special Canberra screening of After Never Again, a powerful 54-minute documentary exploring the experiences of trauma, resilience, healing and community in the aftermath of October 7 and Bondi.
Special thanks to Chasida Pinchuk, the inspiration behind K2A.
Sunday 11 October 2026
Film commences: 2:00pm
Tickets: $30
Proceeds from the tickets are going to the Resilience Centre in Israel’s south, supporting the establishment of its new Research Institute for its pioneering work in trauma treatment and community healing.
Following the screening, there will be a short break with refreshments.
Optional Facilitated Community Conversation
After the refreshments, members of the ACT Jewish community are invited to stay for an optional 90-minute facilitated discussion, led by trained, trauma-informed therapists from Melbourne.
This gathering has grown from recent conversations within the ACT Jewish community about creating opportunities for greater connection, solidarity, healing and growth.
In small groups, participants will have an opportunity to reflect, listen and share experiences around themes such as:
Healing, sorrow, identity, hope and resilience in difficult times
Intergenerational perspectives following October 7 and Bondi
Supporting children and having difficult conversations about antisemitism
Creative approaches to healing, drawing on Jewish traditions of art, music, storytelling and expression
How we can continue to strengthen connection and support within the ACT Jewish community
Participation in the facilitated discussion is completely optional and can be selected when booking your film ticket. This event is being supported by the ACT Zionist Council and the Zionist Federation of Australia.
Places for the facilitated session are strictly limited to 48 participants.
