FriYAY! Kids Classes at Ponsonby Community Centre
Event description
Each week, kids get to experiment, play and bring their ideas to life using everything from wood, paper and fabric to cardboard, wire and beyond.
Over 1-2 week projects, they’ll dive into sewing, drilling, weaving, designing, cutting, assembling, drawing and painting, and go home with awesome creations they’ll be proud of!
Term 3: (8 weeks)
Starts: 1st August to 19th September
Location: Ponsonby Community Centre, 20 Ponsonby Terrace, Auckland
Time: 4 - 6 PM
Week 1: Print Design
Week 2: Paper Mache Sculpture
Week 3: Upcycled Flowers
Week 4: Marble Run
Week 5: Circular Seascapes
Week 6: Make a Bag
Week 7: Make a Toy
Week 8: Creative Woodwork
Who is this workshop designed for?
This workshop is suitable for children aged 7+ years (under 7 can be accompanied by a guardian). Children must be able to listen and follow instructions carefully.
Please let us know if you child has any behavioural issues the tutor would need to know about. If your child is not good at listening or able to follow instructions carefully then discuss with us first.
