AFTERGLOW is a golden-hour garden dance gathering built around great music, good people and the simple pleasure of a proper dancefloor.
Set amongst the beautiful gardens of Ashcombe Maze, expect disco, funk and groove-based house. Familiar favourites mixed with plenty you won’t hear everywhere else, with the groove always front and centre.
Relaxed, welcoming and a little bit different. Come with friends or come on your own, grab a drink and settle into the afternoon as the garden shifts into golden hour and the dancefloor comes alive.
Come as you are. Or turn it up. Comfortable, colourful, understated, sequined or somewhere in between. AFTERGLOW is about expression, freedom and having fun with it.
YOUR TICKET INCLUDES Entry to AFTERGLOW from 5–9pm, four hours of DJs and dancing, plus access to explore the beautiful Ashcombe Maze & Gardens. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. AFTERGLOW is an 18+ event. Valid photo ID may be required.

- What is Afterglow?
Afterglow is a new Mornington Peninsula dance gathering bringing disco, funk and groove-led house to beautiful local spaces. Think great music, locally sourced drinks and food, and a relaxed crowd dancing from late afternoon into sunset.
- Is Afterglow an 18+ event?
Yes. Afterglow is a licensed event and is 18+ only. Please bring valid photo ID.
- How do I get there?
There is parking at Ashcombe Maze. We're also exploring a return bus from Mornington via Balnarring. Transport details and tickets will be released separately once confirmed.
- What happens if it rains?
Afterglow is an outdoor event and a little rain won't necessarily stop the dancing. We'll keep a close eye on the forecast in the lead-up to the event.
If severe or unsafe weather means Afterglow can't safely go ahead, the event will be rescheduled. Your ticket will automatically carry over to the new date, or you can choose a refund if you're unable to attend.
Any weather-related changes will be communicated directly to ticket holders by email and through our social channels.
- What should I wear?
Whatever you feel good dancing in. Be it vintage, sparkly or completely casual all work.
- Can we explore the maze and gardens?
Absolutely. Afterglow guests are welcome to wander through Ashcombe Maze and explore the beautiful gardens throughout the event.
If you're heading off to explore, just leave your drink behind in the main event area. Signs will show you where drinks can and can't be taken.
- Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. After this date, tickets are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will be contacted regarding refunds.
- Where can I stay?
