Event description

Big changes are coming to aged care in Australia — are you ready?

After years in the making, new aged care legislation will come into effect from 1 July 2025. These changes aim to create a more person-centred system, offering older Australians more control, greater choice, and clearly defined rights. But with that comes significant shifts in how aged care is funded — especially for home care and residential aged care.

Whether you’re planning for your own future or supporting an ageing loved one, join us for Aged Care Explained, a free seminar presented by Jennifer Langton, Head of Advice at Aged Care Steps and an industry expert in aged care finance and seniors living.

In this session, you’ll learn about:

               •             The new Aged Care Act and what’s changing

               •             Types of aged care services and how to access them

               •             Updated fees and charges

               •             Payment options and strategies to manage costs

               •             How to structure your finances for the best outcomes

Time: 5:45 PM for a 6:00 PM start – 7:00 PM finish (with short Q&A to follow)
