Aged Care Reform Explained - Webinar Series. Session W3
Description
The Aged Care reforms introduced on 1 November 2025 are significant and we've heard from many older people and their families about the impacts they've experienced since the reforms commenced.
As the reforms head toward the 6 month mark since introduction, COTA Australia and the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) are hosting 3 webinar sessions to provide another opportunity to have your questions answered.
The first and second webinar sessions have now been completed. Thank you to all those that attended and we hope to see you at the final webinar session on Tuesday 30 June!
Webinar 3: The webinars address the questions submitted by attendees.
Costs, prices, and affordability continue to be dominant themes, along with assessment and reassessment. The Commonwealth Home Support Program will be discussed and Residential Care costs including Higher Everyday Living Fees (HELF) will also be addressed in this final session.
This is the 3rd and final session in this webinar series.
As part of your registration, you can submit a question on any aged care reform issue that you’d like answered.
We encourage older Australians, their families and other supporters as well as interested community members to attend.
These sessions are not designed for aged care providers or professionals.
