Event description

Who better to celebrate International Day of Older Persons than with Ashton Applewhite, a leading advocate against ageism and Linda Burney, the first Indigenous woman to be elected to federal parliament?

Following the publication of her book, "This Chair Rocks", Applewhite has spoken at conferences, workshops, and even delivered a Ted Talk on how ageism is robbing us of the contribution that older people can make to our communities.

Linda Burney has long been an advocate for social justice and is now serving as the Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians and Shadow Minister for Families and Social Services.

Applewhite and Burney will be in conversation with Caroline Baum, a broadcaster, podcaster, journalist and author. Baum is also the Ambassador of Older Women's Network NSW.

We can guarantee that you will enjoy a thought-provoking, entertaining conversation. So please join us in the anti-ageism revolution by signing up to this great webinar!
