Aggies Long Lunch - Hosted By YAP

This year’s Aggies Long Lunch is built around a simple idea, backing yourself, and backing the next generation.

For people in agriculture, backing yourself can mean taking a risk, chasing an opportunity, finding your voice, stepping into leadership, building something of your own, or staying resilient when the path ahead feels uncertain.

 Hosted at Tamworth Jockey Club, the long lunch will bring together farmers, emerging leaders, industry supporters and regional professionals for an afternoon of connection, storytelling and purpose. Through a relaxed live conversation with our guest speakers, we’ll explore lessons from pressure and performance to humour, confidence, family and finding your own path.

The day will also include an auction, with proceeds supporting a bursary for young people in agriculture to further their education or expand their skills in agriculture. It’s a chance for the room to not only talk about backing the next generation, but to actively invest in them.

Because sometimes the biggest opportunities come when someone backs you & when you finally decide to back yourself.
