The Adelaide City Council provides a free city connector bus service (99) linking major facilities within the North Adelaide and Adelaide CBD area. This service operates: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 6pm Friday 8am – 9.30pm Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 5pm Contact Adelaide Metro for up-to-date timetable information
Entry instructions
entrance on the corner of Angas Street and Gunson Street is accessible by ramp, as it has a small step from the pavement. The doorway is 84.5cm wide. During gallery hours - Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm - the door is unlocked. There is a doorbell at an accessible height that can be pressed if you need assistance.
After entry instructions
Event is in the main gallery. JFA Purple Orange staff will check you in and inform you on the instructions to bathrooms, presentation and venue
Toilet location
The internal door to our artist studios opens both ways and is 84cm wide when pulled open and 80cm wide when pushed open. We also have an accessible toilet on site. Both galleries have timber benches and stool seats available. The floors throughout the building are concrete and there are no steps on the lower floor. We do have an upstairs level to the building, however this is not accessible as it can only be accessed by stairs.
Accessible parking
There is a mix of paid and free car parking along Angas Street and Gunson Street. There is a step from the road to the footpath, to access the footpath you can use the pedestrian ramp on the corner of Gunson Street.
