Join us and be inspired! The AGMARDT Agri-Business Breakfast is back for 2021, a must attend event to hear from some of the industry leaders!
The theme for the AGMARDT breakfast is: The Future of Food and Fibre - a focus on global drivers of change (consumer, social, political, financial, environmental) and the local implications of this for our future farmers and industry leaders.
Key Speakers:
- Emma Boase - People Capability Manager at HortNZ, speciality in applying behavioral economics to a wide range of situations in the food and fibre sector, to help producers, marketers, and consumers make better decisions.
- Jessica Smith - Her career spans a number of decades in Maori development through various management, consultancy and governance roles. Jessica is passionate about indigenous agribusiness and has extensive experience in developing food & fibre sector opportunities on Maori based land to allow a circular economy for all primary sector activity.
- Amos Palfreyman - Sprouts Agritech Patnerships Manager Amos started his career in Food & Fibre sector and continues to maintain a strong focus on the consideration of sustainability within the complexities that exist in today’s global food production and consumption systems.
Our speakers will focus on how they are adapting to change or demonstrating resilience in this new world and creating opportunities for the future and that we must start acting now to achieve that future state.
