AgriTech Road Trip to the Fleurieu Peninsula
Event description
Leaving from the Waite Campus, the next road trip adventure will see us dropping in to visit livestock producers that have lodged their farm under the emissions reduction fund and are using the SoilKee Renovator, biochar production and dung beetle breeding, and The Forktree Project that is re-wilding farmland using the help of technology, and an innovative winery and vineyard.
In the evening we are meeting up with the grape growing community in McLaren Vale.
The trip is being supported by AgriFutures and McLaren Vale Grape Growers.
The cost of $40pp includes transport, lunch, dinner, and a wine tasting and our community is also going to make a contribution to the Forktree Project charity that we're supporting.
