Rowan has over 40 years experience in Farm Forestry. Hear about the lessons from early Agroforestry plantations and how new opportunities allow for diversification of farm income.
About the guest speaker:
Rowan Reid runs the Bambra Agroforestry Farm in the Otways. He is the Managing Director of the non-profit Australian Agroforestry Foundation, through which more than 2000 Australian landholders have completed his award-winning Australian Master TreeGrower course. An industry expert, Rowan has been lecturing at University of Melbourne for 25 years on Agroforestry and Farm Trees.
Rowan is the author of Heartwood: The art and science of growing trees for conservation and profit.
