The last few years have been more entrepreneurial, having started several SaaS businesses that focus on the intersection between technology and our environmental crisis. His most recent, SilverLining.eco, is a platform set up to help clients with big cloud compute investments start their digital decarbonisation journey.

Katherine Dewar - Founder and MD at GoodSense
Kath’s tech sector experience began as a child, learning how to solder printed circuit Boards for her Dad’s robotics startup, in 1981. Her early exposure to computing warmed the pot for a career that has unfolded in parallel with marketing tech. Kath was an award-winning marketer for data segmentation and personalisation campaigns, in the UK and then here in Aotearoa. She managed her first email campaign in 1996, led complex web projects from 1998, and in 2000 was Marketing Manager at an eVentures dotcom. She’s worked with SaaS clients since founding her marketing consultancy in 2001 and GoodSense, the B Corp Certified ethical marketing team she leads, has a strong history supporting ‘tech for good’ companies. GoodSense belong to the Science Communicators Association of New Zealand and Kath is an elected Board Member of the Sustainable Business Network and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
