Agentic AI BOOTCAMP – AUCKLAND: Build Your Digital Partner
Event description
Welcome!
I'm excited to share this Agentic AI Bootcamp with you. I understand that for many of you, this might be new territory, and that's completely okay. Let me walk you through what this is all about in simple terms.
What Are AI Agents, Really?
Think of AI agents as helpful digital assistants that can learn to do specific tasks for you. Unlike regular AI tools that just respond when you ask something, agents can actually take initiative and complete multi-step tasks on their own.
It's like the difference between:
- Having a calculator (traditional AI) that gives you answers when you type in problems
- Having a research assistant (AI agent) who not only finds information but organizes it, draws conclusions, and presents it to you
Why This Matters Now
You might be wondering, "Why should I care about this right now?" That's a fair question!
- The technology is finally ready: Recent advances have made AI agents practical for everyday use
- Early adopters gain advantages: Learning these skills now puts you ahead as these tools become mainstream
- It's becoming accessible: You no longer need to be a programmer to create and use these tools
What You'll Actually Learn
In this bootcamp, we'll start very practically. You'll:
- See real examples of AI agents solving everyday work problems
- Build your first simple agent that can handle a task you currently do manually
- Learn how to "teach" an agent your expertise without needing coding skills
This Is For Everyone
I want to emphasize that you don't need technical background. If you can explain how you do your job to a new colleague, you can learn to create an AI agent. This bootcamp is specifically designed to be approachable for beginners.
I look forward to taking this journey with you. My goal isn't to overwhelm you with technical jargon, but to help you see how these powerful tools can work for you in practical ways.
Looking forward to seeing you at the BootCamp!
Our Speaker
- Marco Tabor - AI Engineer. With extensive experience in AI-customized solutions, he will cover the difference between an AI Assistant and an AI Agent, as well as data security.
- Nick DePhillips -The Head of GTM at AITOMATIC (dialling in from New York City) will present: Bridging the AI Accuracy Gap with Automated Knowledge Capture. Based on his experience, generative AI is transforming industries, but outdated documentation and inaccuracies remain persistent challenges. The key to unlocking reliable solutions lies in harnessing the knowledge of internal subject matter experts (SMEs). In his session, he’ll explore why SME input is crucial, why current methods fall short, and how a new innovative approach—leveraging automated knowledge capture through the Aitomatic DXA factory—addresses these gaps. Discover how to transform operational expertise into consistent, accurate AI outputs, for a new competitive advantage.
- Josh McKenty – Founder of AVANT will have his presentation divided into 3 parts:
- 1. Shift to Workflow-centered AI
2. Data Readiness - Preparing your Business for AI Adoption
3. Marketing with AI in 3 years
- Jake Wu – The Head of Machine Learning at AVANT and a Stanford graduate will demonstrate how to build a lead generation agent.
- Monika Tylova - AITHENTIC Founder / Managing Director. She will touch on AI literacy and how to train your workforce to build your own in-house AI team
- Stephen Brown – Managing Director at Awesome AI (The former Head of Operational Excellence at Burger King NZ), who implemented AI in drive-thru operations, will cover the AI Implementation Roadmap.
I look forward to seeing you with us.
