Thu, 21 Aug, 5:30pm - 7pm AWST

Event description

Join us for a critical conversation between an adversary and an advocate of AI on the impact of AI on the creative sector, featuring two leading experts, Professor Tama Leaver and Dr Martin Dougiamas. This promises to be a dynamic discussion that will explore what AI means for creators today and in the future, exploring the advantages it can offer, such as new tools and expanded creativity, as well as the pitfalls, including concerns over job security and intellectual property rights and much more.

Whether you’re a visual artist, writer or musician, this event is your chance to hear expert perspectives, ask questions, and learn how AI might shape your future. Is there a way to harness AI responsibly and ethically? What steps if any can you take to protect your creative work in a rapidly evolving landscape?
