AI: Engineering the Hell Out of Your Business - The Dark Side of AI - Bowden
Description
AI is not just changing business. It is changing trust.
Voice, video, images, identity, evidence all of it can now be manufactured.
This is not a sit-back-and-watch event. By the end of the evening you will have created your own AI-generated media, seen exactly how deepfakes and scams are built, and walk away knowing what to do if you or your business ever becomes a target.
Listen to the experts talk about the challenges of knowing what's real and how it's impacting our education and training sectors as well as our businesses.
In a controlled, ethical and practical demonstration, you have the opportunity to take part in creating AI-generated media, understand how it can be used for legitimate business and educational purposes, and why the same technology creates serious risks for families, schools, communities and organisations.
This event is designed for business owners, leaders, educators, parents and teams who want to understand the dark side of AI without hype, fear or technical overload.
What we’ll cover:
How deepfakes and synthetic media are changing trust
Real-world cybercrime, scam and impersonation risks
How AI-generated content is created and detected
Practical, ethical uses of deepfake-style technology
Self-protection steps for businesses, families and schools
What to do if you are targeted, including reporting and recovery
How leaders can build safer AI awareness into everyday work
Speakers include Professor Edward Palmer from Adelaide University, Randall Hughson from Spectral Cyber Security and Ted Deane from AI Masters DoJo. The evening will include food, drinks, networking and you will take part in a live AI demonstration, hands-on activities and audience Q&A.
Warning: you may leave this event with your own deepfake and a much clearer understanding of how to protect yourself from everyone else’s.
