AI for portfolio feedback and assessment
Event description
Portfolios are highly individualized and offer students to document and reflect on their learning. Feedback from peers and instructors plays an important role because others can offer valuable insight and different perspectives that can enrich a student’s understanding of a learning event and support them in their further studies.
The AISOP project in Germany, funded by the BMBF as part of the initiative ‘Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education’, is exploring how artificial intelligence can support learners in composing portfolios and how educators can be supported in assessing portfolios. AISOP stands for 'AI Supported Observation of E-Portfolios'.
In this session, you have the chance to learn about the questions the team is asking, what they have already discovered in this multi-year project, and where their technology is at as well as what role digital ethics, in particular data privacy, plays for them.
The event will take place on Monday, 27 May 2024, at 9am CEST.
