The first of its kind AI course here in NZ. Every 2 weeks for 4 sessions educators from around NZ will meet online to engage in course material.
The sessions will be repeated, 1 in the evening and one in the morning. This is to ensure equity of access.
Schools buy 1 access pass, and can have anyone join from your kura. You may even want this to run as a staff hui series.
Module 1: Tuesday 17th Feb 3:30-5:00
Module 1: Wednesday 18th Feb 8:30am-10am (repeat)
Module 1: Understanding what AI tools are out there for education, and how they can be used purposefully and ethically.
Module 2: Tuesday 3rd March 3:30-5:00
Module 2: Wednesday 4th March 8:30am-10am (repeat)
Module 2: Cross checking or developing your AI school policy with up to date guidelines. Developing a school wide AI roll out action plan.
Module 3: Tuesday 17th March 3:30-5:00
Wednesday 18th March 8:30am-10am (repeat)
Module 3: Using AI to strengthen school wide assessment practices
Tuesday 31st March 4:00-5:30: Module 4
Wednesday 1st April 8:30am-10am: Module 4 (repeat)
Module 4: Using ImpactEds EPIC Coaching Model to develop sustainable AI practices in your school.
Sign up is per school - you can have as many as you like join the sessions from your school. We would encourage you to buddy up, the modules will be repeated so if you want to have someone at each then they can meet and discuss outside of this. You only have to come to 1 Module session.
Templates and resources will be supplied.
