AI in Marketing Trends for 2027
Description
The University of Technology Sydney (UTS), in partnership with AMI and ACAM, is proud to host the AI in Marketing Trends 2027 Summit on November 23 between 11:30 – 1:30.
Held at the UTS Business School, this exclusive event is designed for leading marketers, academics, and those implementing and developing the latest marketing AI tools.
The Summit is unique in that our focus will be to engage the entire audience to discuss latest trends, challenges, and opportunities for the short- and long-term while also establishing potential collaborations to help address those issues. Our ultimate goals are to (i) inform guests about the latest AI in marketing trends and (ii) more importantly provide concrete next steps on how to address the greatest challenges with how AI is impacting marketing together.
The Summit will begin at 11:30am and end at 1:30pm. Registration and some light snacks will be served starting at 11:00 and there will be a light lunch provided at the conclusion of the Summit. We will release the full agenda and speakers as time gets nearer but please see the schedule below.

Format: We have two exciting 45-minute sessions, with each session split between (i) three QUICK 5-minute presentations by academic and industry speakers and (ii) the rest of the session devoted to audience discussions and answering AI related challenges raised by the speakers.
Location: The Summit will be held at the UTS Business School. This is Building 08 at UTS. Please see here for the Google Maps https://maps.app.goo.gl/UCXZ33MhDhcLXj9J8
Conference Room: The summit location in the business school will be Level 03 Oval Room, which is room CB08.03.002, and basically in the middle of that Level. For those unfamiliar with the Business School, there are two entrances to the building that are located actually on Level 02 and the main Goods Line entrance that is located actually on Level 03. We will have signs inside the entrances to help try to direct you.
Parking/transportation: UTS Business School is conveniently located near Central Station (10-15 minute walk) and next to the Light Rail stop at Market City (5 minute walk). There are also several parking options nearby and UTS can offer a special rate through a special code for a pre-pay option. Please see below for two options.
a. 169-197 Thomas St, use this link to pre-book and pay. Promocode is UTSTHOMAS to get 30% off.
b. Market City, use this link to pre-book and pay. Promocode is UTSMARKET to get 10% off.
Seating: It is open seating for the Summit. However, based on past Summits, we expect a pretty-full crowd based on an overflow of registrations, so please note there may be a session with standing room only. We apologise in advance if this were to occur. Please also find any open seat and feel free to come in if late to a session.
Our expectation of you: We want to hear from you and expect you to participate in the discussions! The Summit does not want a passive audience, but instead for all of us to come up with ideas to address AI challenges in marketing. The speakers will help provide initial insights on the current situation and challenges with it, but then there is a moderator who will guide the remainder of the sessions to hear from the audience on solutions.
Consent for photography: The Summit will employ a professional photographer who will be tasked with taking photos of the Summit and its attendees; with these photos likely to be displayed on social media and websites. By attending the Summit we assume your consent to be featured in the photography but if you wish to opt out of the photography, please discuss with the photographer on that day.
