As Generative Artificial Intelligence develops and finds its way into many facets of our lives, there is increasing debate about the role AI plays in music.

While some claim that Generative AI will democratise musical expression and creation, others warn of the negative effects that AI may have on musicians, music communities and cultures. Panelists will discuss their research into music AI and field questions from the audience. 

Join a panel of staff and postgraduate students as we explore some of the challenges and concerns brought about by AI.
