AI Play February
Description
Most AI workshops teach you the tools. This one is about you.
If you feel a bit behind on AI, or worried it's going to make you look silly, you're not alone. Most of us are just standing at the edge, waiting to feel ready. You've just never had a safe space to play with it. And that's what this is.
AI Play Lab is a small, low-pressure session to get you off the edge and playing. No jargon. No slides full of robots. Just you, your phone, and a couple of real things from your own life. A trip you're planning. A pile of old recipes. A message you've been putting off. Nothing work-y, and that's deliberate: the quickest way to get comfortable with this stuff is to use it on something you actually care about, where nothing is riding on it.
You'll leave having actually done something, not just heard about it. With more confidence, more clarity, and a pathway forward if you decide you want more. And the discovery that all of this is a lot less hassle than you thought.
What we will do
We'll play with your own real projects together, using simple prompts and a set of Play cards. Small group, so there's room for your questions.
Before the day, you'll fill in a questionnaire and I'll send you back what my AI brain and I make of you. Most people find it a bit uncanny.
Afterwards you get access to the Circle community, so you can stay in touch with the other people who were in the room and keep going at your own pace.
Bring your laptop or phone and one or two things you'd like to have a crack at.
No experience needed. If you can send an email, you're ready.
Barista coffee, and a yummy brain-nurturing morning tea.
Ideas you might bring to work on

Who is this for?
Capable people who are great at what they do but haven't found an easy way in to AI. Especially if you've been meaning to get around to it for a while.
You're keen. You're just not sure where to start.

Future sessions
If this date doesn't work, pop your name on the form at aiplay.co.nz and I'll let you know when the next one opens. We're planning workshops in Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland, plus two for 'age and stage', those under 25 or over 50 (as a gentle approximation!).
And if you come along and want to go further afterwards, we'll point you to where to next, from the best online content through to a full AI immersions. We open the door, you choose where to go next.
