AIAS 2020 Virtual Conference

“The Australasian Institute of Anatomical Sciences was formed to enhance and disseminate the skills of those engaged in medical embalming, tissue preservation and conversion, prosecting and anatomy laboratory management. Also of those who directly or indirectly support the teaching of, and research into, gross anatomy.”
In the wake of COVID-19 and the pandemic’s restrictions on travel and persons meeting across Australasia, the annual AIAS conference will be made available online via video conferencing.
The annual conference is an opportunity for industry professionals to network, stay connected with one another, share knowledge and best practise in the field. Anatomical services (both veterinary and human) can be a very isolating industry as often universities hire minimum technical staff. This conference provides technicians a sense of community and an opportunity for specialised professional development.
