Aidan Jones - Chopin's Nocturne at Church Street Studios
Event description
Aidan Jones, fresh from the Melbourne Comedy Festival, presents a brand new hour of stand up comedy and classical piano.
I grew up playing classical piano, but failed my conservatory audition at 18. I spent some time focussing on MDMA, then started stand-up in 2011. During the pandemic I came back to the piano, and so I wrote this show to combine them.
It's my favourite piece, Chopin's Nocturne in Eb Major, presented with jokes by a bald dickhead with a beard. (me)
NOTE ON THE VENUE: There is no bar at Church Street Studios, but The Lady Hampshire at the end of the street (200m away) is a great place to meet before or afterwards for drinks and food and we encourage you to support this great local business!
