Gaurav Sareen
Lead Partner, Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi³), and NT Public Sector Advisory, Darwin

Gaurav is the Lead Partner for Deloitte’s Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi³) team in Northern Australia and Government Incentives in Australia. Gaurav is a qualified lawyer and has over 15 years’ experience working with Deloitte. Gaurav has an extensive public and private sector background, assisting a range of organisations with project business cases and feasibility analysis, accessing Government funding and financing support, and facilitating regional investment attraction.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Laws – Macquarie University
• Bachelor of Business Administration – Macquarie University
• Member of Law Society of New South Wales
• Fellow Member - Tax Institute of Australia

      Albert Canagasabey
      Lead Partner, Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi³)

      Albert is Deloitte's National R&D leader for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry, specialising in assisting clients with accessing the R&D Tax Incentive. Prior to joining Deloitte, Albert spent over 12 years conducting applied scientific research, developing photonic and electronic components and devices for applications in telecommunications and defence industries. His post-doctoral research included the development of a Fibre Optic Towed Array sensor for naval defence applications in partnership with Thales Underwater Systems and the Defence Science and Technology Group.

      Albert has published over 30 technical papers in international journals and conferences while conducting research at a number of world-renowned scientific research institutions across Australia and the United Kingdom, including the Optoelectronics Research Centre in Southampton, United Kingdom.
