AIDN WA & UK Delegation Event

AIDN WA Invites you to:

Come and join the delegation of UK based companies visiting WA to learn more about our defence environment particularly relating to the future growth associated with Pillar 1 of the AUKUS programme, and build relationships with WA based companies. The companies include:

Also travelling to WA for the first time will be the new First Secretary Defence & Security, Kathryn Essex who will be posted from November to the British High Commission in Canberra from Washington DC where she worked on AUKUS Pillar 2 since its inception in Sept 2021; and Commander Peter Stanton-Brown, Naval Advisor (Submarine & Underwater Battlespace) for the UK Defence & Security Export office, Dept of Business & Trade. Pete is Head of the UK Sub Club that includes around 200 UK companies that operate in the submarine ecosystem. Pete will say a few words about Sub Club and Kathryn will provide a brief update on AUKUS especially Pillar 2.
