Tour of productive urban permaculture garden

Fiona Buining and Michael Wilson from Ainslie Urban Farm have been growing an astounding amount of food on their suburban block for many years. On their 1000 square metre block they grow vegetables, over 50 fruit trees and berries, as well as keeping chickens, working rabbits and bees. This tour is a chance to see the techniques and systems that they use to produce fruit and vegetables in Canberra’s climate. Some of the methods you’ll observe in action include animal tractors, soil improvement, bed preparation and composting.
