Description

This event includes morning tea and all materials.

You will be creating airdry clay ornaments, using natural foraged objects such as seedpods. You can bring your own seeds or foraged items if you like.

Airdry clay is a beautiful medium and you don't need any experience. Connect with nature at the Wallum Centre surrounded by the native trees and shrubs of the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens.

The Friends of Redcliffe Botanic Gardens is a volunteer run organisation promoting the use of native plants in the Moreton Bay City Council area. The group was instrumental in the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens. Today FRBG work alongside Council to ensure the conservation and growth of the native trees and shrub collection at the Gardens. The FRBG run the nursery which sits inside the George Street entrance of the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens. The group propagate and maintain a stock for sale at very low prices. The nursery is one of the few places Moreton Bay residents can redeem their native plant voucher.
