Emerging songwriter Al Matcott is hitting up venues across Melbourne, regional Victoria, Sydney and Wollongong on his maiden EP release tour. Formerly a drummer and guitarist/singer in a variety of bands, Matcott finally decided to focus on the twanging, narrative-driven material that continually surfaced during his songwriting process. “They’re all my stories,” he says. “I don’t want to hide them behind anything.”
