Albany for Peace Rally

Join your community members in calling for an end to Israel's genocidal campaign in Palestine

On Sunday the 24th August we will join people all across the country in the Nationwide March for Palestine. The rallies are demanding an end to the starvation and genocide, and are calling on the Australian government to impose sanctions on Israel and enforce a two-way arms embargo.

Everyone welcome - Invite your neighbours, family and friends.

• Meeting at Albany ANZAC Peace Park, we will gather and at 1pm we will walk up York Street ending at the Town Square

• We will hear from speakers and there will be a cake stall available to purchase by donation

• Make and bring signs to share messages of solidarity and hope

• Bring your pots and pans to bang in recognition of the urgent hunger crisis being faced by Palestinian people

• All donations will fund an Albany Water Truck to provide desalinated drinking water to a displacement camp in Gaza - this is a real and immediate strategy that will send 4000 litres of water to where it is desperately needed, read more and donate here: https://chuffed.org/project/144550-albany-water-truck-for-gaza
