Alexander Flood is one of Australia’s commanding beat-masters, possessing a finessed arsenal of groove, power, and expertise on the drums. His unique sound and approach on the instrument has been crafted through many years of study, training, passion and dedication to music. Leading his own band from the drum chair, Alex’s music pushes a fresh rhythmic and dynamic realm of live dance music leaning on nu-jazz, house, broken beat, DnB, funk, and experimental sounds. 

Naarm/Melbourne-based Close Counters’ diverse soundscape sits at the crossroads of house, neo-soul, broken beat and disco. Their 2023 Music Victoria Award-winning and Australian Music Prize-nominated album, ‘SOULACOASTA II’, is a sample-infused expedition that further secured their spot as one of the top talents in their class, with the duo tirelessly sourcing niche samples from films and records on trips across the globe. With an electric live show, this will not be a live set to miss.

Silk are newcomers on the Kaurna Country block, a four piece Jazz Fusion / Jungle / House band creating phenomonal and unique soundscapes across the city.

& of course, the master, the wizard, the coolest guy living below the equator - Cazeaux O.S.L.O on the 1's and 2's, our shop DJ between live sets.

Porch Records brings to you:
A beautiful evening of music, wine, vinyl and niceness at our creative home and record store, Summertown Studio.
A warehouse nestled in the industrial zone of Somerton Park 20 minutes from Adelaide CBD, and 4 minutes from the beach.

By day, it operates as a creative space, complete with a coffee bar, retail space, record store and home to creative tenants. By night, the space is completely transformed into a live music venue, for curated touring shows. We bring in all production & operators for each individual shows, and it's truly something special.
