  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Alfalfa House’s 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on:

Thursday 9 DECEMBER, from 7.00pm ONLINE via ZOOM

BOOKING is ESSENTIAL and you can do so on this page.

All ‘Active’ Alfalfa House members are welcome to attend and vote at the AGM. Active members have paid their 2021 Subscription Fee and also shopped with us this calendar year.

The AGM will be a great opportunity for members to hear reports from your co-op in what has been another eventful year.

ANNOUNCEMENT of 2022 ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEES

The Members' Council will announce increased Annual Subscription Fees for 2022:

  • Regular Fee = $30

  • Concession Fee = $20

  • Half-yearly rates can be paid.

NOMINATIONS for MEMBERS’ COUNCIL & ELECTION of DIRECTORS

Four (4) Director positions can be filled at this AGM. Three (3) Directors – Bruce Diekman, Ai Leen Quah, & Andrew Whittingham – are retiring at this AGM – and there is one vacancy. The remaining five Directors will retain their positions, having one year left to serve. Retiring directors are eligible to stand for re-election.

ACTIVE‘ MEMBERS interested in joining the MC team are very much encouraged to nominate for vacant Director positions.

We are seeking members who share a vision for a healthy and thriving Co-op, with skill sets and experience in Finance, Fundraising, Governance, Human Resources, IT, Policy, Wholefoods, Retail, and more.

In particular we are looking for a new Treasurer to replace Andrew, who’s retiring from the MC to concentrate on his business activities.

PLEASE NOTE: Nominations MUST be lodged prior to the AGM (no later than Tuesday December 7th), via email to alfalfamc@googlegroups.com or c/- the shop, Attention: the Secretary.

Incoming directors may serve terms of up two-years. It is also recommended that prospective Directors consult the MC Toolkit and the Alfalfa House Rules for detailed background.
