Plastic waste is having a devastating effect on the sea.

Dudendance imagines a new alien species emerging when plastics mutate into living beings. 

Originally an outdoor performance for beaches, the costumes combine organic forms with artificial materials –costumes that suggest sea creatures transform into trash. This specially adapted version combines film, performance from a live choir and film to create an otherworldly immersive experience. Guest artists include Fabiana Galante (Argentina), singing trio Tripple, Fiona Soe Paing (NE Scotland), members of Con Anima Choir (Aberdeen), and dancers from Germany and Scotland.
