ALL ABOARD

🚂🌈 ALL ABOARD, BROOKTON! SOMETHING COLOURFUL IS COMING TO TOWN! 🎨💛

Calling all little artists, big imaginations and creative minds! 🖍️✨

Get ready for ALL ABOARD! BROOKTON – CHILDREN'S COMMUNITY TRAIN, a FREE, fun-filled creative experience celebrating Children's Week WA 2026!

This October, we're inviting Brookton's children to help create something truly special — a colourful Community Train, made by our kids, for our community! ❤️

Every child will receive their very own train carriage to decorate with the colours, pictures and stories that make them unique. From family and culture to favourite things, traditions and big imaginations — every creation tells a story!

Once complete, each carriage will join the others in the beautiful Brookton Railway Station Gardens, coming together to create one vibrant community artwork celebrating the wonderful diversity of our little town.

🚂 Every carriage is different. Every carriage belongs. Together, they make the train!

💛 WHY CHILDREN'S WEEK?

Children's Week celebrates children's rights, voices, cultures and contributions.

This year's celebration highlights Article 30 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child — recognising every child's right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.

And what better way to celebrate than by bringing our children's unique stories together through creativity, connection and community!

🙏 A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS!

Proudly presented by Brookton Onward Town Team, with creative concept, design and event delivery by Bloom'n Events Co, and support from the Shire of Brookton.

This special community initiative has been made possible through the Meerilinga Children's Week WA 2026 Community Grants Program.

We extend our sincere thanks to Meerilinga, Lotterywest, the Department of Communities and the Department of Education for supporting meaningful, inclusive opportunities for Western Australian children and families.
