Description
All About Bitters: Digestive Health and Beyond
Bitter compounds have a surprising range of effects in the body, and bitter herbs are a cornerstone of traditional herbalism. This workshop will explore the benefits of bitters, including but not limited to their effects on digestive health. We'll take a tour of the farm to visit some local bitter plants, and you'll leave with your own small jar of bitters to use at home. If you are able, please bring your own re-used small jar (about 4oz: a small jam or sauce jar) -- this helps save resources! Jars will be available for anyone who isn't able to bring one.
